Where Are
They Now?
We are often asked by frequent
visitors to our web site
about some of the horses that we have sold recently. Here's an update:
"Carrera"
Grand Prix & Equitation horse who qualified for The
National Horse Show & USET-West Finals. "I have flown all over looking for a horse for
this family and I have seen more horses that were not even close to what the
sellers said they were. You have beautiful horses
and it is so refreshing to come to a nice place and see nice horses and to see
them be just as nice as they were represented over the phone." -Kelly Van Vleck
of California, trainer for Heather Heintz, the new owner of "Carrera" & "Piadora"
"Zenith"
Sent via e-mail:
"I wanted to thank you for being such wonderful hosts
while we were trying horses." Follow-up email: "Well, it's been
only 8 months since we bought Zenith and we've come back from our first Grand
Prix! We were the fastest of the 4 faulters of 28 riders and ended up in
9th place (the first 8 places went to professionals!). We had a blast,
he's jumping so well! He's doing great in the jumpers and we are also 1st
in the state for equitation and have qualified for the Maclay, Medal and the
USET Regionals/Nationals. I've gotten so many compliments on him, he's
such a great horse! I love him! Thanks!" - Christy Somerville (age 15)

"Destiny"
Message from Nicole Godley's mom, Connie: "Nicole just loves him, she's
out there right now riding him and he's just wonderful, he's everything we
could have hoped for and we can't thank you enough... I will be sure to
recommend you to our friends."

day!" - mother of Jennifer Wisman of Pennsylvania, the new owner of "Balmoral"

"Zimpatico"
Sent via e-mail: "Just wanted to let you know that Z is doing great!
He went to his first horse show with us and was champion in the lows, winning
all 3 classes! Claudia just loves him and it is so great to bring a horse
home and have it be exactly what he was said to be. Thanks so much for
everything!" Ahna Cafaro, trainer of "Zimpatico" and his owner Claudia
Morf of Pennsylvania
"DaVinci"
(renamed: "D'Elegance")
Sent via e-mail:
"Christopher, FINALLY we were able to take D'Elegance to a horse show.
It was pouring down rain and he was so good!! I kept thinking I should
scratch my classes, but the footing wasn't slick or too deep and Odi (his new
barn name) was so good about it. We got a sixth and a first! Today,
I had my under saddle class first and Odi was wonderful and won the class with
24 horses in a sloppy, muddy ring. It has rained most of the horse show.
Then I had my last modified o/f and we had a very nice trip. We also won
that class and were Champion at his very first show! That horse got lots
of attention and kind remarks. I have been so pleased with this horse.
He is definitely the very sweetest horse and he tries so hard to please.
He put great effort into the lower jumps in the modified classes, but the bigger
adult fences did not faze him in the least. This is truly an amateur's
horse and he is going to be very, very special. I hadn't sent you any
notes and wanted you to know how thrilled I am with this horse! He is a
wonderful pet, but a stunning show horse. " ~ Lori Mathews, Texas
"Prada"
Sent via e-mail:
" This weekend we showed him
in the Low Hunters - he was reserve to a horse who is an old campaigner. Then we
entered him in various classes. He got a lot of blues in the Pre-Green (3'3"
and in schooling 3'3" as well). Not bad for an "A" Wellington Pre-circuit show!
So keep your eyes out for Prada this winter in Wellington. He is going to do
Pre-Green with Sandy (trainer) and Adult Amateur with me (3' not 3'6" yet).
Sandy thinks he will be able to move up into First Year rather quickly since he
pays more heed to the larger jumps, plus A/O won't be a problem for him either.
He doesn't look at any of the large spooky jumps in Wellington... Thanks a lot!
~ Sabina"

"Escada" Sent
via e-mail:
"I just wanted to send you a
quick note regarding Escada's A circuit debut. She was just beautiful in
her Baby Green Hunter class at the Columbine Spring Classic last weekend.
She brought home champion of her division (she placed 1st in her hunter under
saddle class). Escada also performed wonderfully in the warm-ups placing 2nd
out of 19 horses (not bad for a first timer). Piama is doing well. She
will be ready for the A circuit in June/July. So, more to come on her
debut." Thanks! Tracy
"Paris"
Champion in the Small Junior Hunters
at Gulfport and First Year Champion at the 2005 American Royal Horse Show (by sweeping the division
with all firsts)!
"Congratulations" and a sincere word of "thanks"
to all of our
clients for your kind words and updates.
We wish you continued success!!
